Café 61 was envisioned as more than just a café — it’s a welcoming hub where students, parents, and staff come together to relax, recharge, and embrace the spirit of community that defines St Christopher’s School.
Our design focused on flexibility and versatility. The space seamlessly blends a dining hall, a quick-grab café, and a curated retail area, offering something for every visitor. We curated a fresh, contemporary atmosphere by combining muted tones with subtle bursts of color, ensuring the space feels both stylish and inviting. Flexible bi-fold doors, varied wall finishes, and a mix of seating types create distinct zones within the open-plan layout, enhancing functionality while maintaining a cohesive look and feel.
Café 61 is a testament to how thoughtful design can bring people together, creating a space that’s as dynamic and adaptable as the community it serves.
